2018 Brokers on Lenders Survey Results

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Canadian Mortgage Professional Magazine, the publication does an annual survey – the Brokers on Lenders Survey – where brokers are asked to rate lenders in certain categories of service.

We are pleased to accept three medals this year:

Gold: BDM Support

Winning this award doesn’t come to us as a surprise; our BDMs see the value in a true partnership. Our BDMs are there to help you, our brokers, get your deal done. With many years of expertise under their belts, they understand what brokers value and what they need to succeed. Good, timely communication, knowledgeability and personability are key ingredients to good service, and who better to receive this service than our brokers.

Silver: Satisfaction with Credit Policy

Something most alternative lenders are always surprised to see – an award for credit policy. We’re constantly trying to improve our policies and how we communicate them to our brokers. We’re happy to see you think so too.

Silver: Transparency of Commission Structure

It’s not the 20th century anymore, we can talk about compensation. It’s important for you to know our payment structure and that’s why we lay it all out on the table! We try to make it easy and simple to understand with no funny business.

Overall, the Brokers on Lenders Survey is viewed as a barometer of broker satisfaction with their lender partners. With increasing competition, this survey offers valuable insight into how well we’re supporting our brokers. We know where to keep working hard, and all the awards we haven’t won tell us where we need to work harder. And work harder, we will.
